[Dix Hills, NY - November 17, 2023] — With an amazing display of community spirit, and a commitment to honoring the memory of former Sachem Ice Hockey player Jeff Bausch, the Sachem Ice Hockey players and their families rallied together to help raise over $7,000 during the inaugural JB96 Frozen 5K event.

The Sachem School community collectively helped sell an impressive 189 tickets and garnered 48 direct donations, showcasing the overwhelming support from families, and friends. 

The funds raised will contribute to three essential causes: the Jeff Bausch Unsung Hero Award, the Jeff Bausch Aspiring Content Creator Award, and support for the Bausch Family. Each cause reflects the values and passions that Jeff Bausch embodied during his life.

The overwhelming response reflects the deep connection and enduring legacy of Jeff Bausch within the Sachem community.
